We believe that “Life is more beautiful when it is shared.” With this mindset, we as a group of friends who can not contain their passion for travel and feel the need to share it embarked on a new journey under the name Açık Bilet. 
 
Our story began as white-collar workers living in different cities. Throughout our professional lives, we always found ourselves striving to turn even the shortest vacations into trips abroad. We would stay up late into the night looking for airlines’ ticket sales and share any cheap tickets we could found with each other. This eventually turned into a travel companionship. Since then, we love traveling together, discovering different cultures, and creating unforgettable memories. On this page, you will join us as we step through doors opening to the different corners of the world, discover beauty, and become part of our adventure.
 
Our goal is to share our experiences with fellow travel enthusiasts and to inspire those who want to travel but haven’t found the opportunity yet. To achieve these goals, we will share not only about the tourist attractions in the cities we visit but also about food spots, different cultures, and our tips for travelling abroad.

P.S. Açık bilet is a Turkish phrase. It can be translated into English as “open ticket”. An open ticket is a type of travel ticket that does not have a fixed time or date, allowing the holder to use it at their convenience.
